Kesari - an Indian sweet from Sivakala in Buddha Garden kitchen

Description / Method: 


  1. Mix all the ingredients together and then cook over a low heat for about ten minutes.
  2. Put the mixture into a shallow tin and leave to cool.
  3. When it is cool enough to touch cut into squares.
  4. Eat when it has completely cooled down.

400 grms Rava

400grms sugar

2 tablespoons ghee

100grm half cashews

2 litre water

Two small pinches of Kesari powder (don’t overdo it!)
